Intermediate Wheel Sundays Fall 2026
Workshop Details
This class is for potters who have experience with wheel throwing. Students will work towards building confidence and mastery of throwing efficiently, even walls, refining feet and lip and on creating balance in each piece. Instructor is Craig Petey. A sample list of projects is below: 1. Pitchers and throwing tall 2. Altering, attaching handles and trimming narrow mouth items 3. Connecting two pieces to make a large pot 4. Throwing a lidded form 5. Teapots 6. Glaze show and tell Zelle/Cash/Check Price: $395 for non-members, $320 for members. Website/Venmo/Credit Card Price: $407 for non-members, $330 for members Payment preference is Zelle, cash or check. This can be dropped off to the studio at the mail slot in the door at 728 Hwy 4, Arnold 95223 or mailed to PO Box 3517, Arnold. Fee Includes: Small class size, glazes, firing (up to 600 cubic inches), and open studio hours. Clay ($35/bag) and basic tool set are not included. Open studio: 1 day per week to come practice what you learn in class without instruction. Firing: 600 cubic inches of firing is included in your class fee. This is about 12 cups, or 8 cups and two bowls. Above 600 cubic inches is charged at $.06 per cubic inch. Members' firing allotment is in addition to this amount. We will go over how to track and measure your pieces in class.

Cancellation Policy: Fees are refundable up to 7 days before the workshop. Unfortunately I cannot accommodate refunds after that time. If the class is cancelled for weather or some reason on my end, your fee will transfer to another workshop of your choice or be refunded if necessary. Â
